My wife, who i purchased this for, absolutely loves the laptop. I was concerned that the Box that the laptop came in was the retail packaging and was not put into a separate shipping box, but the carrier did not harm the product at all. Please be careful as a HP laptop box being left on the front porch is a recipe for theft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with how quick and zippy the HP Envy 16 laptop is. It turns on almost instantaneously thanks to a 1TB SSD. The generous 16 GB RAM allows for multiple programs to be open at once without sacrificing speed. This particular configuration also comes with the latest 12th generation Core i7 processor as well as NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 graphics so it can play the latest games. Video looks great thanks to the WQXGA display and sound is quite good as well.
Aesthetically, the laptop looks pleasing with a silver aluminum finish. I also like that the keyboard has a bright backlight and the letters on the keyboard are quite large.

This laptop is a great upgrade from my previous laptop, but I am very disappointed with the blurriness of my video on the webcam. I work from home so having a webcam for conference calls was an important feature and I expected better picture quality from the HP True Vision 5MP IR camera. This is supposed to be a premium webcam on the more expensive HP laptop models, so I was let down to find out that my previous HP(which was probably about 5 years old and a much cheaper option) had a nicer webcam than this newer and more expensive model. This has been a great laptop so far, but if you need a webcam I don’t recommend buying any of the laptops with this webcam.
