The extension cable works great, and fits right with the Tesla Wall Charger. A few things that could be improved, however. First, the button on the connector is merely a decoration. It doesn’t open the charge port on the vehicle, and it does not stop/unlock the connector from the charge port. Lectron should program the button so that it will function as the button on the Tesla wall charging connector.
Second, the extension cable is thicker and heavier than the Tesla wall connector cable. It should be the same thickness as the Tesla wall connector cable, and lighter in weight also.
Overall, I think the extension cable is a great tool in adding length to the original Tesla Wall Connector.

This extension cable is.very well built. It allows the car to be charged at the maximim rate of 11.5kwh. The connector is solidly made. Sadly the button on the connector does not have a function, you will need to unlock the charger port through the Tesla app instead.

The only NACS extension cord you'll need

It is a very substantial (read thick) extension cord. I use it when charging a Model Y that I park in the driveway. The cord lacks the button functionality (i.e., open and unlock) that is built into the OEM charger, but those two issues do not prevent me from using it daily. I definitely would recommend it to anyone whose charger is on the back wall of their garage and parks in a driveway.
