Solid charging extension option!

I purchased about a month ago and this cable is high quality and well made. I would give 5 stars, except the button at the end of the cable does absolutely nothing. It's only decorative. You have to use the Tesla app to tell the vehicle to stop charging and release the cable from the charge port. If you press the button on this extension cable, nothing happens. Not really that big of a deal, but it's important to know this, so you know how to disconnect from your vehicle. Other that that, this extension cable is well made and works great!

the cord is very thick and I got 21 to 22 miles per hour for this cord. I can see the cord is going to last for a very long time. Very happy with my purchase.

Great quality extension cord for anyone in the market. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. This cord makes the original manufactured charger look like an old fashioned “drop cord”.

NOT Supercharger, SAE J3400 NACS Compatible

This Lectron extension cord is rugged and well-designed, designed and rated for 48A@240Vac Level 2 EV charging or 12A/16A@120Vac Level 1 EV charging (overnight, workplace, etc.), NOT for dc fast charging. DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. The end connectors and cable are NOT 1000Vdc J3400 NACS compatible, they are not designed or rated for the voltages, currents and power levels of dc fast charging. Extension cords like this are UNSAFE and BANNED for use at ALL public dc fast charging stations, which have lethally dangerous voltages of 500Vdc-1000Vdc at power levels as high as 700kW (an average US home runs on less than 1.3kW). DO NOT USE THIS CABLE AT ANY NORTH AMERICAN TESLA SUPERCHARGER (V2/V3/V4/Urban). 4/14/2024
