Dissapointing

I bought this pillow 3 years ago. I liked the deisn especially the pillow in pillow. Initailly this pilow is great. It is relatively fluffy and comfortable. After about 3 months, I noticed it was lumping up a lot. I would spend hours trying to pull apart the lumps and restore the softness. Initially they advided you not to wash them, so I tried to make them more comfortable. I then went on their site about a year ago and I saw you could wash them, I was delighted. I went and bought some dryer balls and put it in the machine. Well, after washing the pillow as instructed, I saw it was still lumpy and impossible. I again spent a long time trying to pull apart the lumps-(believe me, this in no easy job--my fingers would spasm up after awhile) I just tried so hard not to give up on this pillow, because of the price and I so wanted it to work. bottom-line-you cannot wash this pillow--it gets so much more lumpy. I have no idea what the filling is composed of, but it is not a pillow that will stay soft. I finally gave up on it about a month ago and bought a hungarian goose down pillow on Amazon. Now this pillow is a slice of Heaven. I wish I had stopped trying to make the Casper pillow work. Bottomline, the filling will not stay soft, your pillow will start to go lumpy after a few months and it will only get worse--It is very uncomfortable to sleep on. I do love Casper and I have the Original bed and cottom pima sheets--which are great but do not buy this pillow--Sorry guys--change the filling.

Comfortable but noisy

Whatever it is stuffed with makes a scrunchy noise when your head is on it and when you change positions. I had bought this pillow for my husband and now he uses my old pillow because the noise bothers him too much to be able to sleep. I hope the noise goes away over time.

A Dreamy Delight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE my Casper pillow. I LOVE that no matter how I shape it to sleep, in the morning it still looks like a new pillow. Other pillows seem to retain the shape and look lumpy or twisted. My neck appreciates my Casper pillow, I wake up refreshed without any neck aches. Thank you for inventing pillows and mattresses that are a pure delight!
