When I purchased the Casper Pillow, I sort of expected it to be the perfect compliment with my Casper mattress. The mattress is firmer than my previous bed, so I expected a fairly firm pillow, but it actually flattens quite easily. It seems not to provide enough support for a side sleeper, and the middle of the pillow (where my head usually is) seems to be missing the most cushion. I regularly attempted to fluff it, but the result was that it felt lumpy whenever I laid my head on the pillow. Then last week, I experienced a lot of back pain while sleeping. After two days of back pain, I decided to change back to my old pillow. It could have been other things I was doing to help with the back pain, but after returning to the old pillow, my pain went away. Not sure whether the Casper pillow is at fault, but I’m wary of bringing it back. I love my mattress, but I’m a bit skeptical that one pillow can be for all sleeping types.
My mattress is crap...I know it's crap....but honestly this pillow helps...I usually buy foam pillows because I'm a side sleeper... But this pillow is better than any foam pillow I've had....I do recommend it if your a side sleeper.
After reading about the pillow, I thought it would be a suitable replacement for my old down pillows, and I bought two. Unfortunately, they were just not comfortable for me. If you’re used to down, I’d think twice.
