This is a very squishy, comfortable pillow. I have the King size, which is a great size if you’re a side sleeper who likes to hug your pillow, like me. I can’t say that all my neck, shoulder, and back pain is miraculously gone, but it’s much better than my old pillow.
I have been using a contour pillow for years and thought I would have difficulty adjusting to the Casper. However, it has felt amazing since the first night. The quality of my sleep is greatly improved.
Oh, I had SUCH high hopes for my pillow, I really did.
Aside from my loving the name "Casper" since I'm a kid--and my narrator's name in my Casebook mysteries notwithstanding--I was stoked for this to arrive. But as the pillow has the texture/makeup of a goose-down one you'd find in hotel rooms, this is far too soft for my head to use without adding another for the firmness and loft I need to sleep comfortably and am used to.. But FOR its initial rollout, this is a GREAT product for those who like that softer, mushier, more malleable feel in their pillows than I'd prefer. It's my biggest hope Casper'll put out a firmer, loftier pillow those of us preferring this over the original (I mean, seriously: if the dog beds are as firm as the mattresses are, why not have more than one pillow selection to chose from when y'all rolled out the pillows to begin with?).
And if this company decides to reach out and have a testing sleep lab for such future pillow prototypes, sign me up! I'm more than willing to be a Casper guinea pig for a great pillow. 'Sides, their King of Prussia outlet's not that far away I can participate there if that's ever necessary.
