I was not looking to buy a new one as my old one (12 years old) was still rocking, but I got rear ended and the old Thule took the brunt of it!! I absolutely love my new one, great upgrades as far as ease of use and the lean down with bikes on in order to get in my hatch on the Subaru is fantastic! Love be this bike rack, glad Thule still puts out great product.
I'm really happy with our new rack. It's much sturdier than I had hoped. We put it on a 2010 Mercedes ML350 and the rack can't go in the upright position so we bought a hitch extender (9") / raiser (4") and it works perfectly now.
I am an active single 60 yr old that loves to be outside. I needed a bike rack that I could operate on my own and the Thule T2 Pro x is the perfect fit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic rack for carbon frames!

We got our T2 Pro X a couple of months ago after getting a carbon frame mountain bike that couldn't be safely put on our old hanging rack. This rack is perfect for both our mountain and road bikes!
Features I love: - Locks to hitch - Folds up out of the way when not in use - Easy to remove and stow in the garage - Folds down for rear hatch access with bikes loaded - Option to use the add on for increased capacity
Features that need improvement: - Added lock cores to swing arms for bike security, but realized that it would still be really easy to steal a bike off the rack, so always add an extra lock. (only reason for four stars)
Great product that is very fast and easy to secure bikes. The rack is very well built and very heavy duty. It works with all of our bikes in our fleet from my wife's E- bike , our gravel road bikes, our rode bikes and my mountain bike. We like that it tips down to access the back of our Rav4. I wish the arms came with locks as I had to order locks for those.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't try to assemble with their instructions

Assembly is required. And don't try to assemble this using the instructions that Thule provides. It is a nightmare.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Thule T2 Pro X bike rack. Thule bike racks require assembly to ensure they are able to reach their users in one piece. Fully-assembled bike racks would take up more space in the mail, leading to higher shipping and purchasing costs, and would be more likely to break due to the more fragile components sticking out from the main assembly. Thule user manuals are designed to use images and diagrams rather than text for easier translations to the dozens of languages spoken where Thule products are sold. This limits possible translation errors, and the environmental impact of printing longer manuals that include many different languages. Thule Customer Support is available to assist with installation Monday through Friday 8am-8pm EST.

Have to buy locks separately

Doesn’t come with bike locks. It only comes with one lock which is used to lock the rack to the hitch. You would have to buy 2 additional locks for the 2 bikes, and then need 3 keys for the 3 locks.
