2 e-bikes, 2 cross country trips, zero issues!

We have 2 KBO Breeze e-bikes. They fit perfectly on the rack (there is specific way we have to position the bikes and pedals, but the bikes don’t touch and are held firmly between the straps and the clamps. Bikes are 57 lbs without battery’s. We have taken the bikes on several trips to parks and trails, including 2 separate cross country trips of 1,500 miles with zero issues

I bought the EastFold XT to carry two Aventon e-bikes. The installs very easy to my receiver hitch and the folding ramp to get my bikes on the rack is very helpful. Adjusting the two frame holders and getting the bikes into place is very simple.

Purchased to carry two Aventon e-bikes, each weighing 63 lbs. Other than needing to have a hitch installed, this rack is easy to install and remove from my vehicle. Loading and securing these heavy bikes is also simple. It comes with a ramp to help get the bikes up, but I don’t need to use that (at least not yet!).

I bought this for my partner, Anette. The rack is very easy to install and the ramp makes it easy to load the bike. All videos of other racks show sone strong, young guy lifting the bike onto the rack. This rack makes it easy. The triple locks are an added plus.

We Love This Rack!

We recently bought 2 electric bicycles and needed a better rack for them. The EasyFold comfortably handle the two bikes and is easy to store away when not in use. The two wheels make it very easy to move around for my wife. She also finds the included ramp allows her to load her heavier e-bike with ease.

The XT2 is a high priced, fair rack.
Pro's: Folds easily, stores easily, lightweight.
Con's: Does not hold fat bikes, even with straps. Is a puzzle every time you put on bikes to avoid handlebar/seat conflict, pedal conflict. Is time consuming to secure bikes. Does not work well with unusual frames. Ramp is fairly useless for very heavy ebikes. Does not hold two large ebikes.

While the Thule EasyFold XT 2 is designed to fit the wide variety of frame shapes and styles among ebikes, the wide variety of different manufactures can make it difficult for every model of bike to fit neatly onto the rack. Depending on the shape and size of your particular bikes, it may take some trial and error to find the best way to mount them to the bike rack.

The set up for the rack was pretty easy. Putting electric bike with 42 in wheel base and 3inch tires was tough at first as the straps were JUST long enough (ended up ordering longer for easy of strapping down). We were told that the bike we had should be all set with the standard/stock straps (which was not the case).
