Not easy to use

The rack attaches to a hitch well. That is the best part about this rack. The concept is interesting, but in practice it would be a miracle to get two ebike on the rack at the same time. The short clamp is too short and the long clamp is too long to attach to a bike in the close position. I can get both of my ebike attached in the far position using the long clamp. If Thule made clamps in other lengths there might be a chance to get on a wider variety of frames securely attached to the rack. Another solution would be to extend the height of the U-bar that the clamps attach to, and add some horizontal bars like a ladder to provide more options. I think that many ebike owners will be disappointed that they've spent this much money on a rack that does not solve their ebike transportation problem.

Great e bike carrier

This bike carrier is absolutely wonderful, and worth every penny. I have a few eat bikes that are hard to fit on a carrier and accommodate the extra weight, the spy carrier was recommended by the bike store I bought from and it turned out to be everything and more. Totally recommend it for anyone Hauling e-bikes!!!!!!!

Had to watch a short YouTube video to understand how everything worked, but now understand and enjoy. Use with 2 ebikes one of which is Aventon’s giant Aventure We use an extra strap around frame/bikes because some reviewers said the bikes fell off. I can’t see how if straps are attached correctly and not cracking - but just in case.

My wife and her mother have both found the rack easy to use, light enough and maneuverable enough to mount themselves, and a solid answer to her mom's needs. It is very solid when mounted correctly, and nearly intuitive on how to use. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our choice from the dozens of racks we considered. We feel confident that it is secure for her E-bike, which at it's cost and weight was important for us in choosing a rack.

Stripped threads on part that goes into the car hi

Up until my last use I loved this carrier. But when I went to use it next it had somehow gotten the threads stripped and I can not tighten the carrier into the car hitch. I bought this new less that 3 years ago and am very frustrated. We wanted to take the bikes to go on a rail trail and it just wasn't safe. Very upset that our plans couldn't happen. The company that sold it to us has closed so not sure what to do. Very expensive so never expected this.

Excellent & easy bike rack to use

I used it for the first time going to all women's ride last Sunday. I was a bit nervous driving on freeway but bike stayed attached & didn't wobble. Putting bike rack down is very easy. Extremely easy to attach bike to rack & best of all, you can lock your bike to rack.

Nice but needs wider spacing between bikes

I had an XT Pro 2 rack and then purchased the Easy Fold 2 rack to support the weight of two Rad Runner Plus ebikes. I wish for Thule to provide the same extra space between each bike that the XT Pro provided for the Easy Fold in their next upgrade. Then it would be perfect. Also supporting bikes over 65 lbs would be a plus.

The Thule EasyFold XT 2 is designed to fit the handlebar and pedal width of most standard bikes and ebikes. Looking at the specifications and pictures of the Rad Runner Plus, I can see how the expansive rear cargo rack could make it more difficult to fit two of them. Bikes with accessories or non-standard geometry may need some additional adjustment to find the best fit.
