Terrific Carrier

We've used myriad carriers for 2 & 4 bikes over the years. My wife now has a heavy electronic Pedego. This rack is great on the back of an SUV for the Pedego & my Trek road bike. We've been using this rack for the past few years.
The central clamps are not forgiving & bikes need to be properly positioned. But I've yet to be inconvenienced by this. And for a heavier electric bike, this carrier has been great. It's also easy to store!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I work in a bike shop and sampled several bike racks before purchasing the Thule Easy Fold. This rack can securely carry two e-bikes.. It is very easy to use and folds to the size of a suitcase. I would not hesitant to recommend this rack to friends and customers.

I have 2 Trek Verve + 3 bikes and love how secure and safe the EasyFold XT is and is easy to load my bikes. Have made two trips over 300 miles with both bikes with no issues.

This is my second Thule rack. My first one was great and while I’m not too old to bike, I’m starting to struggle to lift my e bike. This new model solved that problem. The ramp works great to load my ebike onto the rack. The new rack is also light and has wheels to move it from the garage to the back of my car to connect. Love it.
Added bonus, I sold my old Thule rack for a very good price. It held its value.

Stripped threads on part that goes into the car hi

Up until my last use I loved this carrier. But when I went to use it next it had somehow gotten the threads stripped and I can not tighten the carrier into the car hitch. I bought this new less that 3 years ago and am very frustrated. We wanted to take the bikes to go on a rail trail and it just wasn't safe. Very upset that our plans couldn't happen. The company that sold it to us has closed so not sure what to do. Very expensive so never expected this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would definitely recommend for any bike

This product is great for any bike especially for any one with lifting inabilities because it comes with a show away ramp. I purchased for heavy DH hikes and my fender covered touring bike. Best part coming from a arm hitch rack style of carrier is no need for an overpriced tip tube adapter. The price is steep but all around worth it!

Not easy to use

The rack attaches to a hitch well. That is the best part about this rack. The concept is interesting, but in practice it would be a miracle to get two ebike on the rack at the same time. The short clamp is too short and the long clamp is too long to attach to a bike in the close position. I can get both of my ebike attached in the far position using the long clamp. If Thule made clamps in other lengths there might be a chance to get on a wider variety of frames securely attached to the rack. Another solution would be to extend the height of the U-bar that the clamps attach to, and add some horizontal bars like a ladder to provide more options. I think that many ebike owners will be disappointed that they've spent this much money on a rack that does not solve their ebike transportation problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best hitch rack I have used!

I needed a new receiver rack for my new Electra TownieGo! 7d"s with in-tube batteries that make the down tube larger to clamp to. The Tule EasyFold XT 2 worked perfectly; it comes with a stow-away ramp to roll the bikes onto the rack, keyed the same locks for the bikes and hitch, and folds up small to store away. As an added bonus you don't need to carry it to your garage, it comes with wheels like luggage to roll it to your garage!
