Size fit e bikes

I am pleased with the compactness of this rack easy to put on and take off car and easy to roll. My difficulty is loading two Rad e bikes. They are too wide. Had to remove right pedal on each bike make them fit. Any suggestions?

Not Worth the Price

As far as I know, this is the only bike rack made for heavy e-bikes. As because it is manufactured by Thule, a company known for quality products, and very expensive, I had moderately high expectations.
But this rack has been a huge disappointment. The claws that are supposed to hold your bike in place are very, very difficult to use (it lost its grip on my bike like it has done many others) and the lever that is supposed to allow you to tip the rack back stopped working. I haven't even owned it a year yet and probably have used it only a half dozen times.
Plus, it sticks way off the back of your car, looks very unattractive (many people think it's meant to transport a wheelchair), and is very bulky and heavy.
Finally, this probably isn't Thule's fault, but it also triggers my SUV's warning system (re: nearby objects) every time I put my SUV in reverse. It's a huge pain.
Think hard before you buy.

Not compatible with Subaru hitch receiver

Thule platform hitch racks are not properly designed to work with many receivers, such as Subaru. Instruction requires 1.5" minimum setback from the front of the hitch to the pin hole. Subaru outback factory hitch receiver is about 1". Seems like very poor rack design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All Thule bike racks are designed for 1.5" hitch pin depth on vehicle hitch receivers. This is the industry standard and covers the vast majority of factory-installed and aftermarket hitch receivers on the market. Unfortunately, some Subaru vehicles come with a hitch that does not match these dimensions.

Bike was stolen from locked rack

We had two beach cruisers (fat tires) and my bike was stolen from the rack. They just picked and broke the lock. When we use it now, we have a Kryptonite lock. The lock that was picked is useless now.

While Thule locks are an effective theft deterrant, a dedicated thief with the right tools and enough time can circumvent just about any lock system.
If you plan to leave your bikes unattended for long periods of time, we recommend storing them in a secure location away from the public.

Really easy, really good!

I've had this easyfold since the beginning of the product and I cant say enough good things about it. It is so easy and convenient. First, it locates the bikes up and out from your vehicle, secure and solid. Next, my moterra XL is a big ebike... it's no problem for easyfold. I can mount the rack and 2 bikes in less than 5 minutes, its that easy. These comments of not enough room, no directions, etc.. its simpler once you get your orientation first time, but after that EZ!!! Dont worry about Ramps... if you can ride it, you can put a tire into its spot o

Bikes will not fit

It was very easy to put on my hitch. Then I put the ramp on and preceded to load the first of my 2 Pedego Boomerangs. The ramp worked ok. Then I notice a problem with my pedals fitting. It took me about 10 minutes to get this bike secure. When loading my next boomerang I immediately saw a problem. There was not enough room to load because the pedals hit the other bike when using the ramp. Would not recommend for boomerang ebike.
