Works for a while

Design is perfect. Quality is terrible. I loved this rack when I first got it. I did everyday and load and unload bikes on it multiple times a day. All the ratcheting teeth and parts are plastic and they wore out after about 3 months of use. Thule sent me a replacement but the locks didn't work on the replacement and the teeth just wore out again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a gift to my husband to replace our steel framed hitch rack that was rusting. The old one was very heavy and wasn't easy to put on/ take off. This one is much lighter and folds up more compact. Hubby gives it 5 stars!

Taken two mtb over multiple state lines and the rack has performed really well. The latch to lift and lower the rack is sometimes sticky/difficult to operate

Rack is breaking in several areas

One wheel arm will not move up after folding it to the rack. Another arm will not engage to hold the wheel. Super disappointed in this rack.

Great rack!

Awesome bike rack. When installing make sure that the two locks are on the top left and bottom right. Also, its critical that you tighten the screws as tight as they will go or the treys will be loose. If you follow instructions you will be very content.

Exceptional rack

This rack is perfect. I couldn't be happier. I also own a Vertex rack which is great for my bike but not for my wife's step through frame which is a pain to strap up. This solves that issue perfectly as it's held by the tires and not the top tube on the frame. It also eliminates the bikes banging together while traveling. One other thing I noticed is that I can see out of my rear view camera when backing up again as it's not blocked by the upright of the Vertex rack I had. I love that it doesn't touch or scratch the frame when I bring my bike back dirty and probably the simplest installation I've ever seen. My wife can toss her bike on quickly and easily. Nice touch with the integrated locks as well. Solid while driving and folds up nicely when not in use. Well done guys.

Love this carrier. So EASY to put both bikes in it compared to others I have had in the past. High quality and stable during transport. Had to call customer service and they were great. My only complaint is the assembly and installation instructions are very lacking. No verbiage. My suggestion, make a professional YouTube video and include the link in the instructions. That would be a life saver. The 3 keys and how to use them was totally not clear.
