Easy Install, Great Look, Smooth Ride!

We bought this bike rack ahead of a long road trip and couldn't be happier. Shipping was easy, set up was simple and the installation was quick. The rack fits into our tow hitch like a glove and does not wiggle around like previous racks. The tilt functionality works great for trunk access. We are happy customers!

Sturdy and very easy to use!

We bought this rack two weeks ago and it arrived quickly with no issues less than a week later! We have already taken it on many mountain bike rides and are extremely happy with the purchase. It is very sturdy and easy to get the rack tight on the bikes which has been a bit challenging with other racks we have owned. We also have a boat, so taking this rack on and off easily was a concern for us. It is without a doubt the best rack we have found for that as well. It is worth the extra money to invest in this rack if you are an avid rider!

Functionally a little easier than the T2 Pro XT, but quality and looks are a little better to me. Also looks very clean which is important to me. Wish it came in black, but being aluminum I can’t imagine it’s feasible knowing what happens to anodized parts in the sun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally got a chance to use this on a camping trip to Michigan with my wife. It was so easy and convenient to setup and really made our trip so much more enjoyable. In the past we had tried other racks that just didn't have the same level of quality. They would sometimes lose functionality or crack after only a few uses. This has held up very well after 6 hours roundtrip of driving so far. I am looking forward to really breaking the platform in over the summer with lots of driving trips planned!

I’m so glad i invested in this super easy light weight 2 bike carrier. Super easy on and off and it has anti theft features which is so awesome. Putting it on and off my car is so easy. Taking the bikes off and on is no time at all. Love this rack. I totally recommended it.

Over the years, we went from hitch-mounted hanging racks to Thule roof-tops to an older T2 (Classic) to this Helium Platform XT two bike 2 inch hitch model for our road and MTBs. Couldn't be happier! Quick and easy operation, easier than the T2, and no straps to adjust or worry about losing or breaking. Very easy hitch mechanism - no hitch pin to wrestle, and a built-in, secure locking system. Very simple bolt-up assembly of five major pieces with a handful of same size bolts and washers - main body for the hitch and four wheel cradles. Instructions are very different - all photos, no words! Turned into a "What's different about this picture?" game but otherwise easy assembly. Just started using the rack with our MTBs about six times (once a week) when one of the tire hold-down bracket joints came loose. Seems like some kind of retaining clip came off a hinge pin, but no obvious way to open up the sealed wheel cradle assembly and fix it myself. I filled out an on-line warranty form about 10 days ago which was approved. I am now happily waiting to receive a new wheel cradle assembly - yay, Thule! So thanks again, Thule, for a great, simple, fast hitch rack, and thanks for GREAT warranty service!

I just assembled the Helium Platform XT in my garage. It took about 30 minutes to bolt together. I am looking forward to using it to transport our bikes. Seems well made and easy to fasten and lock the bikes to the rack. The locking hitch gives me hope that it won’t be stolen from the car.
