Sturdy and seems durable yet pretty lightweight and easy to store when not on the vehicle. Assembly instructions leave a little to be desired, but easy enough to figure out. Did a 500 mile trip with some 80mph interstate travel and no worries.

LOVE this rack! What a joy the ease of use is. I can leave it on the vehicle with the bikes secured and still open the back. It’s a beautiful thing!

I've used this many times over the past month and very happy with out purchase. It is so easy to use compared to our old Yakima rack. It doesn't rattle or move, which is so nice. I like the built in locks. Most of all I like how sturdy it feels. I don't like the amount of plastic parts, but time will tell how those wear.

Ive had various racks throughout the years, a couple of XT's from Thule, a couple Kuats, and a Saris. So far the Thule seems to be the one that keeps its solid feel year after year. The other brands are good, don't get me wrong. But after about the 3rd year they start to feel "worn" but the Thule still feels solid! This new design is one of my favorites, it does create a very large rack, however, so keep that in mind on smaller vehicles or if storage space off the car is tight...
