I own the original joule and now with the turbo, I’m excited to see who it develops. I’ve used the turbo feature and it is awesome, the app doesn’t have many, yet. Also, having owned the older joule, certain recipes are not in the library for the turbo app. Bring those recipes would be a huge help. I suppose having the subscription to the studio pass helps, I still retained my premium subscription for life which was very awesome of the company. Overall, the new joule is awesome but the app could use some more content to really show off the capabilities of the turbo feature. The chef steps company with breville have been super helpful with how they back their products. I’m excited every time I use my two joules and can’t wait to see how much more can be developed.

I love my Joules…please add sous vide drink recipes

I love my Joules! I bought my first one before the initial release and had to wait a few months for the actual release. I am disappointed that the new Turbo requires a recipe in the app in order to use it. That said, since Breville just advertised how great mixed drinks are done sous vide and included the Joule Turbo, PLEASE add some of these recipes to the app.

To start your own cook, click the appliance icon in the upper right hand corner, and then select "start a cook". The icon is a circle in the upper right hand corner and has a small picture of Joule Turbo. We will pass along the suggestion for more drink recipes, and for now, feel free to use any that you find online and start a manual cook. There are a few on chefsteps.com! Have to use two apps, really?

Just plugged this new Joule Turbo in and realized it can not be used with the original Joule app nor can the original Joule be used with the new Breville app. This is pointless. The whole reason I got another Joule was to cook with both at the same time and have the convenience of one app. Thanks Breville for messing up a great little company.

Turbo verses original

I really don’t see any difference in this one and two I have. I do I have a 3rd one that doesn’t have the magnet metal bottom. I bought the first two and had to wait 1 yr for it to be ready for delivery then 2 years ago a bought the third one. I love cooking with them.
What used to be a simple process of selecting your food and cooking it, has now become a nightmare of recipes to wade through. Why can't we just have the simplicity like the first app.
