Makes flawless cooking a breeze

I've absolutely fallen in love with my Joule Turbo. It makes cooking meats flawlessly a breeze. The addition of recipes and tips from chefs is such a great touch, and makes sous vide cooking accessible to anyone. The "tips to get started" also makes set up a breeze. Highly recommended.

The perfect cook every time!

I get the perfect medium-rare steak every single time with the Joule Sous Vide since you can fully control the temperature through their app, which is easy to use, giving you alerts and tracking your progress. I also love making a big batch of soft-boiled eggs, you’ll get the most precise cook, with the yolks super runny and the whites completely set. I sometimes have a hard time controlling the temperature over the fire for soft-boiled where the whites aren’t the slightest bit runny. The Sous Vide paired with the app sets you up for success, with lots of visuals in the app to make it a successful cook every time. I also appreciate the magnetic base so you can just put it in any pot without clips.

So much more complicated than the Chef Steps original

I had to replace my original Chefs Steps model after working it to the bones. The Breville seems to work about the same way when you make it thought the damed software but they've made it more complicated and obtuse. And yet their newer models won't interface with the original software. I'd give anything to have my old one back again. I just couldn't get it to keep running...

Picked this up when my Anovo fell apart after a year and a half. I have several other Breville products that I love, so I picked up the turbo joule. Perfect steaks, chops, chicken and more so far. The turbo option is awesome.

I had to sell my pellet grill a couple of years ago when I moved into a townhome that had no place for me to use it. I would make steaks, ribs, tri-tip, briskets - now I can't.
I bought the Joule a month ago - and have been making steaks - experimenting with slightly different prep for the steak. The one thing that has remained consistent is the cook on the steak. Perfect doneness edge to edge. The meat was as tender as can be without it being overcooked and dry.
It's easy to set up a cook and cleanup is as simple as dumping the water.

Turbo Joule Didn't last long

I have been using Joule Sous vides for years so when they came out with the Turbo of course I purchased it. However, within a few months the inside blade started hitting the sides of the inner case and failed. My old model still works so I still use it and am very happy with it. However, I need a new bottom cover and I cannot find anyplace to purchase it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
