Love the ball bearing oven rack and hidden element stove interior.My wife and I were simply changing appliance colors from black to white, But made the exception with this stainless steel Frigidaire "Professional" series range.

It looks like a very high end, professional stove. The griddle feature, air fryer and temperature probe are not features I would have asked for but I love them. Cooking is so much easier and clean up is a breeze.

Self Clean ruins this range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 6 months of purchasing this range, we turned on the self cleaning. Approx 2 hours in to cleaning mode, the front elements started to spark. Scared us! We quickly googled the problem and found we needed to turn the power off at the circuit breaker and call for warranty repair. Five days later we had someone come to repair the range. Wires in the front element casing were melted. We have to now wait for a part. We were advised to never use the self cleaning function even after new part installed, as this could occur again. We feel that Frigidaire should recall this range and look into why this is a problem! Poor safety. Too bad as we do like the range. We have purchased other Frigidaire appliances but now we are very weary. Hopefully Frigidaire will follow up.
