So disappointed
on December 23, 2023
Posted by: liseMa
From the first use this range has been very disappointing. We simply boiled some water in our kettle…10 minutes before it boiled. Ten minutes…I’ve never experienced that before, and here we are a month later and still takes forever. And from that first boil, surface marks. We have to polish clean after EVERY use, even just boiling water. The range surface is difficult to keep clean. We have had several glass top ranges before and they all were so easy to wipe down and keep clean, and certainly did not require a deep clean just after boiling water in a kettle (no spillage involved). This surface never looks good. Bottom line is we do not like the range at all.

Not Safe With Young Children

My husband chose this oven as are old one broke, the oven and the features are great sadly no delay start, it looks nice the problem as I'm about 5ft 5 every time I am working at the stove my hip hit's the buttons and turns stuff on. The two year old loves turning the knobs, no way to lock them think would have been better if digital with an on/off then set

Constant F16 Errors
on January 13, 2024
Posted by: John19
I bought this oven about 2 years ago, it always had random F16 errors but they were infrequent for the first year. Now I’m out of warranty and the errors happen 50% of the time the oven is turned on. I also get random beeps and errors when the oven isn’t even in use. I’ve had several times when I have to get up in the middle of the night because the oven starts beeping with F16 errors. I’ve already replaced the relay board out of pocket and today I’ve replaced the assembly board and I’m still getting errors. This has been such a disappointing purchase.

Frigidaire provides very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against any parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. Don’t Buy This!
on January 27, 2024

We bought this last January but never got to use it until June 2023 as we were building our house. Since moving into our house in June, this range can’t keep the oven temperature that we select. We’ve tried turning the oven temp higher when the oven has already met the temperature that we select and the oven temp always goes back to 200 or less. This oven is never hot, and it takes an hour to cook fries we’ve tried air fry, bake, convection bake and it always takes an hour and sometimes more to cook fries. We’ve cook/baked other things and it takes longer than what it should to cook. This oven is never at temperature.

Quality and Design Flaws
on September 13, 2024
Posted by: jeffun55
The range is less than two years old and the main circuit board has failed. Error code F27. This is not a cheap oven. I thought I was paying for quality... I guess not... Also there is a serious design flaw. The knobs on front of the oven can easily be turned on just by brushing against them... If you have children this is clearly a dangerous issue. Samsung recalled their ovens for this problem and fixed it... Frigidaire should do the same

Does anyone else have issues with the front knobs heating up so much when the oven is on that you burn yourself when you touch them? The paint has even burnt off the knobs!

Hi there, valued customer! Thank you for making time to provide us with your feedback. The oven control panel will get a little hot when using the appliance. That’s because the heat inside the compartment will flow to the oven’s frame, including the control panel. However, an overheating control panel is likely due to an oven door that isn’t fully closed, a worn-out door seal, or damaged hinges that prevent the door from shutting firmly. If the issue still persists, feel free to reach out us here or via Live Chat at frigidaire.ca or by phone at 1-800-265-8352, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m. EST.

“Off” doesn’t mean “off” with this stove???
on May 1, 2025

We just bought a house and inherited this product. Immediate impressions: error codes about the door (which is just a door that opens and closes, there’s nothing wrong with it). And it won’t turn off after cooking with the oven, regardless of cooking mode used. Like 30 minutes after turning it off it’s still running the heat and convection fan, so I unplug it for 5 minutes, plug it back in and it still decides to turn back on even thought it’s set to off… then after unplugging for a couple more hours and plugging back in it finally agrees that off is off. So every time you use this oven you need to pull it out from the wall to unplug it? Or just waste electricity and heat the ambient air in your house for an hour or more hoping it eventually stops? I have a product innovation to suggest: when you turn it off… it… turns off. It’s called an on/off switch. Please reach out if you need more technical assistance on this ground breaking concept.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you’re encountering with your oven. It must be incredibly frustrating to deal with error codes and the oven not turning off as expected. We completely understand your concerns, and we appreciate the humor in your suggestion for a more straightforward on/off switch!
The behavior you're describing sounds like it could be related to a technical issue, such as a malfunctioning control board or sensor. We definitely want to resolve this for you, and our team would be happy to assist in troubleshooting or arranging a service visit if needed.
Please feel free to reach out to us directly at 1-800-265-8352, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m. EST, and we’ll be happy to assist.
