Love this but…

dishwasher installation

The connection for the incoming water should just be a female compression fitting. I put a hose fitting with a compression fitting on the end on it and snugged it down like I would a garden hose connection and the hose fitting leaked badly. I am continuing to tighten a little more each time. I done it four times and it still leaks. Bosch should at least use a steel or brass hose fitting to make it easier to install.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tines need help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Bosch 800- decoding I wanted the drying technology. It is sleek, dishes come out clean, however, the placement of the ties especially in the bottom rack are terrible. He's incredibly difficult what I need. They are slanted and strange way. My other complaint is that the buttons are not very responsive. Sometimes they are too responsive. I would just say, before you buy this dishwasher, try to load some dishes in someone's. And see if it would work for you.

Most Useless App I Have Ever Experienced

On a scale of 1 to 10, my rating is minus 500. Bosch dishwasher is okay. BUT The Bosch "Home Connect" App for iPhone is the worst, most unreliable, piece of garbage software I have ever encountered. Hello, in 2024 WIFI is not a new technology & isn't rocket science so why can't Bosch select a software partner who can actually make it work with my model 800, high end dishwasher. Basically, connectivity between my HOME CONNECT app and my dishwasher is less consistent than my 15 year old daughter. Mostly, no connectivity (meaning 99% of the time, no connectivity), and connectivity goes on and off like a traffic light. When connected on those extremely rare occasions, it seldom responds. Just to cover Bosch's likely excuse, my internet router is extremely high end and so reliable & powerful it could likely melt an ice cream cone at 100 yards. So bottom line: We will never purchase any Bosch appliance again. Such a shame (for them).
P.S. About app updates, none for over a year when app NEVER WORKED, and many "techless support less" calls. Now they are coming like a cousin trying to borrow money. But backing off, re-doing, etc. it's uglier than a dog's breakfast. And it's still unreliable. Somebody at Bosch needs to be fired and perp walked out of the building.
