Wonderful Dishwasher!

My first one was terrible - it was one of the first built in the US and they used some 220 parts out of their Europe manufacturing - mistake... Almost skipped the brand entirely because of that experience. Did my research and found they've corrected the issues I had experienced.

Series 800 Dishwasher

However, there are some shortcomings:
- Apparently the Rinse cycle cannot be enabled from the dishwasher panel and can only be run via the app (there isn't a button on the washers's control panel) — this is a big shortcoming. If for any reason your WiFi is down, you cannot rinse.
- The termination of a cycle is communicated only via the app.

Awesome dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher is just great! It was easy to install, cleans very well and is so quiet we can barely tell it is running. The racks are very sturdy and we like the top rack for silverware. We expect this dishwasher to last a long time.

Remote start

Poor user interface!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this as a replacement for an older Bosch. However, the only way to do "delayed start" is via a very clunky app -- you cannot use the dishwasher controls themselves! Also, there is no indication when a load has been run and is DONE. It is easy to start mixing dirty dishes with clean ones if someone else started a cycle without your knowledge. By contrast, our old Bosch had nice buttons and indicator lights for all this, and would even tell you how many minutes remained in the cycle. Too bad the technology went backward ...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of prewashing dishes and substandard cleaning as well as other issues with previous other brand dishwasher, this unit is terrific.
PROs
Cleaning is very good
Drying is very good
Noise lever is very good
Build quality looks great.
CONs
Had to purchase a power junction box
Not a fan of the silverware tray:
Takes verticle room from other trays.
Leaves rust marks on lesser quality knives
Silverware/cultery basket is odd.
In the way
App connection is terrible.
I would like to have information (time, cycle, etc.) viewable on the front panel.
No cover to hang knives from or contain items
I wish I had kept the silverware basket from my Kenmore
I would purchase this item again (best reveiw I can say, and a rare comment from myself).
