Such a DIFFERENCE from our Bosch 100 Series!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this machine to replace our 6 year old Bosch 100 Series dishwasher because we wanted something that would clean a little better and would dry out the dishes. Also we have an electric water heater, so the water warmer on the 100 never seemed to work very well, which caused us to have even MORE issues with cleaning! Also, our rinse dispenser never worked on that machine....that's a long story, but we tried to repair it and that didn't work.
So far, REALLY IMPRESSED with this machine and we haven't even used all of its features! We had an Ascenta in our old home we were very happy with, so when we bought our new home, we thought we would be as happy with the 100 line as they had discontinued the Ascenta line. It was good and that machine is still working, but it just does not have the same capabilities. The 800 blows the 100 away! When I unloaded the dishwasher this morning, we have a juicer we use to handpress juice into foods. The oils from the rind would get on the stainless steel and be very hard to get off, even by handwashing. I noticed in putting the dishes today that the residual oils were pretty much off the inside of the squeezer! Pretty impressive! Obviously, it's cleaning abilities are awesome! What's even nicer is when opening the dishwasher in the morning, the dishes are warm which leads me to believe that the water is getting hotter now, something that did not happen with our old 100 Series.
For those buyers who complain about their Bosch not drying well (especially plastics), larger plastic items do very well on the bottom shelf. I've noticed there is very little water on them when I take them out. While we use a lot of smaller containers for sauces for lunches and I do put them on the top third shelf, I just lay them on a dishmat and they dry in no time! I didn't think there could be an even QUIETER machine, but the 800 series is even quieter than our 100 was. I recommend if your budget allows it to buy the higher end machine.
My husband was very impressed with the plug and play aspect of the machine installation. I think the only part he really had an issue with was the levelers/legs in the front. Having said that, this machine went in much faster than our old Bosch!
As this is our third Bosch machine, we have had other dishwashers over the years. In 43 years of marriage, we have owned five machines total. The first two roughed up most of my dishes terribly causing chips in the glaze and the racks of them would rust through eventually causing the dishes to be exposed to that. None of my Bosch machines have ever done that. Buying a Bosch machine means you are buying a dishwasher, not a dishblaster! It's gentle, yet it does the job of cleaning! Very happy with the new machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the main reasons we have chosen Bosch dishwasher is repair people recommendation. They all said they prefer and buy for themselves the brand for reliability and durability.
It works definitely better than my old Kenmore Elite and much quieter. The third shelf for utensils is good space saving feature.

I know that “everything should be” via our phones, but it is silly that I cannot set start delay directly on the door control. It is the only feature I miss from my old dishwasher.

I'm in Love!

I absolutely love my Bosch-800 Series Dishwasher and here's why: It's beautiful, it cleans my dishes, pots, and pans thoroughly, and does it all with a whisper of sound. Because my kitchen is in a Great Room, it was imperative that my Dishwasher be super quiet. It surpassed my expectation. Additionally, I especially like the drying system which is a technical marvel! The 3-level rack arrangement accommodates everything. I wholeheartedly recommend this superior product. It's worth every penny!

It does everything the advertisement says it will

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is over the top great. It's extremely quiet, and the dishes come out sparkling clean. The adjustable racks and ability to raise and lower the tines make for simple loading and easily loading large or odd shaped items. The top pull out utensil rack is great for large utensils and even sink mats, sponges, scrubbers and cooktop exhaust fan filters. If I had to find something to complain about, it would be that the silverware caddy is a bit small. I rectified this minor problem by purchasing a second caddy, and it fit nicely along side the one provided.
This was our first Bosch appliance and I'm really glad we made the decision to purchase it.

Great dishwasher!

I did a lot of research before replacing my old dishwasher and decided the Bosch would be the best value. Could not be more pleased! It's VERY quiet, does a great job cleaning and leaves my glassware sparkling! I also should add that were a family of only 2 so we only run the dishwasher every 2-3 days so it's dealing with dried on food and gets every bit off! Although I didn't think the WiFi capability would be very useful it turns out it's a great feature. I downloaded the app, connected it to my home internet (only took a few minutes) and now I can easily tell how many minutes are left on the cycle, when I need to add more rinse aid, etc. Makes my life a lot easier!

After 20 Years a New Diswasher

My new BOSCH dishwasher is unbelieveable!! I never knew how clean, clean dishes were until now... My old machine did wash and clean for 20 years but this one goes beyond clean. Dishes and glasses are beyond clean, smooth and silky clean.

Delayed start is a pain to use

Having to use the app to use the delayed start is tedious and a pain to use. I wish we had our old, easy to use delay start machine.
