The best dishwasher I have ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the cleaning power of this machine as well as the build quality and the fact that I never have to check the dishes to see if any of them are dirty! I also like all of the features on it like the wash cycles and the fact that I can use it with Alexa. I also like to look of the machine.

Quiet, roomy, fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced an Asko that had served me well for many years. I usually use the 1 hour cycle because the Asko delicate cycle had usually done the job for me, and that's been true of the Bosch.
Internet connectivity is slightly useful, especially the reminder to add rinse agent. Less helpful was the reminder after one month to run a cleaning cycle with Bosch products that are not available in their online store, accompanied by an inscrutable red "check engine light" on the panel. The overall user interface is a bit weird: turn the power on, select your cycle, press start, possibly select some options, and now you have a few seconds to close the door or it will time out.
There is slightly less vertical clearance on the bottom rack than I had with Asko, but it hasn't been an issue. There are plenty of customizable parts in the racks. A lot of reviews mention poor drying, and yes I notice some water in convex coffee mug bottoms, but it's not significant. The lack of a heater for drying is a bonus for putting plastic items such as food bowl lids in the top rack.
My kitchen has white appliances and Bosch was one of the few high-end companies still producing them, so although it took a few extra weeks, I'm glad they're here.

I Like My Bosch Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bosch 800 series dishwasher is a replacement for another Bosch that lasted 18 years before the motherboard shorted out. I sincerely hope this new dishwasher lasts as long. On the plus side, it is extremely quiet. When we first got it, we turned it on and had to open the door to see if it was actually running. On the not-so-plus side, the old Bosch dishwaser would run a load in a mere 28 minutes, where the new one require 1:28 minutes to run an identical program. I understand that the Federal Government (EPA) has set almost impossible standards for dishwashers about how much water they are allowed to use and how hot the water can be, and manufactureres of dishwashers and dishwasher detergents (who have a whole other list of things they can and cannot do, thanks again EPA), but I am of the opinion that the cycle could be shortened considerably and the dishes would come out clean. In closeng, I am very pleased with the look and function of my Bosch dishwasher and hope to have many successful years using it.

Bosch 800 series dishwasher
