Bosch 300 series dishwasher

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The unit took 8 hours to install! It seems klunky to operate. Not as quiet as I would like. Not particularly user-friendly to load either and it runs way too long. Not as pleased with my purchase as I should be. A bit disappointed, really.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is quiet, The silverware shelf on top is a great feature, and it cleans dishes to be spotless. The smart connectivity also helpful since I get a notification on my phone when the load is completed. Also the passive drying feature is great and works surprisingly well!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit doesnt dry dishes to my expectations. When the door is opened, even after using the extrended dry funtion, there is water everywhere inside the unit.
The middle washer arm, located under the middle rack, still contains water and it spills out all over the dishes in the bottom rack. So, if you want to grab something quick from the middle rack and empty the bottom rack later, everything on the bottom gets soaked again (more thanit already is from not drying completely).

Good, but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this dishwasher to replace the Bosch 500 series we bought 10 years ago that died. While we like the Bosch products, we are a bit disappointed by the differnce in these two models that we didn't consider prior to purchase. The 300 model has a tiny untensil/cutlery basket. It's half the size of the 500 model and we were forced to order a new one because we didn't think to hold on to the old one from the 500. There is no way the basket in the 300 can possibly hold all the silverware used in a day without over crowding. Also, there seems to be no rinse cycle in the 300 series. I often use the rinse cycle between loads and assumed it would be in the 300, as it was in the 500. There is also no option for a short cycle, as there is in the 500, and all the wash cycles seem much longer in the 300 series.
All in all, Bosch is a great product, but buyer beware. The subtle differences are a bit of a surprise.

New Bosch 300 Series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replaement dishwasher for my 20 year old Bosch unit. With that life it's why I chose another Bosch to replace it. Both were self installed and the new unit was an easy install. I especially liked the new power cord setup. Just route it into the sink area and plug it in. Also the drain hose with the built in adapter to the garbage disposal. The unit runs quiet, with just enough noise to know it's running, thought the red light on the floor is a nice touch. The third silverware tray on the top is a great addition, as it holds a lot of pieces. Stacking normal dishware is easy, and there are a lot of options on how to fill a load. It's a different layout from the older unit so still getting used to how to load. The extra dry and sanitize settings work great, dishes are dry and spot free when removed. The Home Connect app is nice. Especially the Usage statistics, less than a kWh per cycle! That's about $0.10 per cycle at my electric rate. And only 3.0 gallons per cycle. Very satisfied.

Everything I wanted!

I knew I wanted to replace it with a Bosch because everyone I know who has one raves about it. It has lived up to my expectations! It's quiet and cleans dishes really really well! I like using the app. It also holds way more dishes than my old dishwasher. The third rack is a game changer.
