Functions “Simplifed”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I preferred my old Bosch. This one has fewer options, such as no rinse and hold option. The only quick wash is more than an hour. Also it requires a rinse aid to get dishes dry, but there is no indicator for when the rinse compartment is empty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch for the win

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Fischer Paykel dishwasher installed in our new construction home 10 years ago. It never worked well. We have a family of 8 plus my parents live with us, so we produced a lot of dishes. A few years ago we just became accustomed to handwashing and I really dismissed idea of buying a new dishwasher, having been soured on the whole experience by Fischer Paykel. My Dad, thinking the whole scene of handwashing ievery meal was just a bit much to watch, so generously treated me to a new Bosch dishwasher. I thought it was extravagant, over the top, not necessary. However, I've been hooked since that first load. Apparently we're just terrible hand dishwashers. I've never seen my dishes, so clean. Sparkling. Effortless. It's a work of art inside that machine. I'll never stray from Bosch again.

Do Not Buy

This dishwasher is not worth the money. I does not hold many plates, when you put a bowl in the dishwasher it takes about 4 plate postions due to poor design. It's alway wet inside even after "sanitizing". The led display that shows on the floor is complete giberish, just random numbers. I have no idea what the purpose of that is. The cup section cannot hold large glasses so you need to put them in the aready limited plate section. And it will not connect to Bosch Home Connect. Which is also very glitchy. I've had much cheaper dishwashers that made more sense.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I expected from A washing machine

Small Utensil holder, the light that reflects on the floor is half visible. The bottom shelf retracts back when loading machine so I have to hold it with other hand. Dissatisfied.

Worth The Wait

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered our Benchmark dishwasher and it was received by our vendor within a week. However we have custom cabinets and had to wait 4 months for our custom panel to be done. When the panel was received we notified the vendor they setup the installation and the dishwasher and panel were installed. When we used the dishwasher for the 1st time we were amazed at how quiet and efficient it was. My husband even remarked that he couldn't even tell it was running except for the red light illuminating down on the floor. When the cycle was done we unloaded the dishwasher and the dishes were clean and dry. Love this dishwasher it was the best investment.

Quietest dishwasher ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did a complete kitchen remodel and bought this model (SHV9PCM3N) so that we could have a panel put on the front to match our new cupboards. It was perfect. And so easy that my husband and I put it on while waiting for the contractors to come back.
Also, it is the quietest dishwasher ever. We have an open concept kitchen and livingroom. And this dishwasher is so quiet that we never ever hear it when we start it and sit down to watch TV.
And lastly, I love that all the racks are customizable to what I have loaded in it.

Amazingly sophisticated Dishwasher!!

If it didn't have the timer that shines on the floor, we wouldn't know it was running. Great cleaning capabiltiy - we will have to break ourselves of our prewash habit and try out the true capabilities that people talk about on this machine. Happy customers and glad we stretched for the top of the line! Worth every penny!
