[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from our cartridge printer that always seemed to run out of ink in the middle of a large project. As with our other printers, this one was easy to set up and get running with no fuss. Print is clear and colors are good, but the speed is a bit slow so don't be in a hurry. This unit has the Canon fit and finish that we prefer over other brands.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Canon Pixma G4270 two weeks ago and love it! Love the fact that it uses bottles of ink to refill rather than a cartridge that doesn't last long! Was able to catch a deal on 5 bottles of ink as well, so that was a great plus! Looking forward to using this machine for all my print jobs.

The initial high cost of the printer will save you money on ink in long run. It’s got ink for days. It also print photos but as a photographer in my opinion the photos are a little washed out. Maybe It just needs a little bit of adjusting but on the initially the pictures came out a little bit washed out like for example the blacks are not dark enough. Now if it’s just for normal printing, it may not be the fast but you are guaranteed to get your work printed in good quality with lots of ink.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought last month on sale. Great price for what we need. Easy to send print jobs from phone, etc. I am a little disappointed in the depth of colours. The photos we have printed so far seem to be a little washed out looking. We will try different types of paper to see how that impacts the colours displayed. I do love the 'tank' idea for the printer though. So easy to fill up and hopefully a bit more economical. Time will tell. Overall, we are pleased with the printer for what we need.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One drawback of the Canon PIXMA G4270 is that it requires manual feeding of paper when printing double-sided. This can be somewhat inconvenient, as it interrupts the workflow and requires extra attention to ensure the pages are fed correctly. While the print quality remains excellent, the need for manual intervention during duplex printing may be a consideration for those who frequently print double-sided documents.
