It's really too early to give a full review, but in the 4 or 5 times we've cooked on it over the last 2-3 weeks we like it very much. It's much easier to handle than the big Genesis Gas Grill we had for the last 15 years. It heats to over 500 in about 20 minutes. It seems to cook what we've done so far faster than the gas grill. Food tastes great. Using the Weber grill brush the grates clean easily. The bottom bowl however may be another story. We haven't as yet removed the element to clean the lower bowl or the lid. So far no regrets about this purchase.

VERY inadequate grilling instructions. Your instruction booklet is full of "don't do's" and practically nothing about "how to's".
Example: How long at what temp setting should you cook a 1/2" hamburger to medium, or well, or medium rare. You constantly empathize keeping grill lid shut and judt flip once so how is a person supposed to know when the way you want it. I've cooked hamburgers twice now and first time under cooked and second over cooked.
Did a NY strip steak and it came out beautifully. But I did lift lid multiple times to check it.

Unfortunately Florida laws prohibit the use of gas grills on condo lanais. I have tried several electrics over the years (including an expensive Kenyon that I just threw away) and the Lumin is the first to reach 600 degrees for searing steaks and burgers. Having the large temperature range has allowed cooking many different foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m gonna start with I absolutely love this electric grill! We go to a lot of horse shows we’re we stay all weekend. This is so easy to use and set up. So on show weekends this is a must for us to bring! I highly recommend to anyone that camps alot, or doesn’t have alot of space for a huge grill! Absolutely love!
