I love it for the searing action. The steam and smoking function is an added bonus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works so great for all the random trips we take. Lately we have been going and visiting hubby's grandparents alot and needed a way to cook while there. This is going to save a fortune no more having to go out to eat because all it takes is an outlet and we can cook whatever we want. Being able to cook from frozen is a huge plus too it saves so much time. Cleanup is always a breeze and I love it's large size because burgers for a family of six is no problem. I might actually start camping now that I have a good easily portable way to cook.
The Lumin electric grill is everything as advertised. The grill is efficient to use and can reach a temp of 600 degrees within minutes. Easy cleanup and the complementary attachments to support grilling vegetables and seafood are well designed.
Love this grill. It is the perfect size for my screened deck, grills perfectly but does not throw off as much smoke as the big grills. So easy to clean. And the light blue color is so pretty. The stand was a little tricky to put together, but it holds the grill nicely. Cover fits great.
I rarely write reviews. I have been wanting and looking for a grill to use for everyday use. I have a smoker, but its not ideal when you want a quick burger or steak. The Lumin has been just what I was looking for. Compact. Quick to heat up. No mess. No complaints so far.
First time with an Electric Grill - Had to get an electric because of the type of association we live in here.

Not charcoal or gas, but really good

Let’s be honest, it’s not as good as charcoal, pellet, or gas. But, if you’re in a situation in which those aren’t options (such as a condo), this is great. It gets to 500+ with no problem. So far, I’ve cooked a couple of chicken breasts, chicken wings, and fajitas (used the griddle plate). All have been excellent.
There are a couple of quibbles, though. They’re not problems as much as a wish list. 1. Dual burners for direct/indirect cooking 2. Have the control dial go from 1 to 10 for a little more control. 3. Maybe raise the hood a little to accommodate larger cuts of meat - although, that may reduce the top temperature since there would be more air to heat.
100% love the Lumin grill , sears and cooks as advertised! Also as advertised it takes a good 15-20 minutes to get to 600 degrees. So as long as you plan ahead and get the grill roaring hot you will love this grill too.
