This grill has the power to really sear meat and vegetables and cook them quickly. It takes a bit of time to reheat even with a quick open, but this has not really dimmed its overall capacity to do the job better than other electric grills.
Living in a city that does not allow open flame grilling, Lumin Grill is a great option. Heavy grates gives good sear/grill marks, cooking times different than open flame, takes longer to heat up. Overall great option LOVE IT
We have been long timew Weber Q fans. But we travel in a travel trailer a lot and got tired of carrying around a tank of propane (and way too often forgetting to turn the grill off and burning up gas at night!) So we were delighted to see the electric option, which we have been using for a month. We love it. Easy to use and clean; gets very hot; good controls. Enthusiastically recommend it.
This is a great grill that heats very evenly, and can steam or smoke as you want. I like not needing a gas tank and I like it better than any of my previous gas grilles.
The small Lumin electric grill provides the grilling needs of individuals living in condos or apartments. The grill heats quickly, cooks consistently, and cools quickly when the heats is turned off. The grill and the supporting legs are small enough to safely store in the limited storage available to residents in condo-type homes.
We live in a senior villa community and are not allowed a gas grill. We love the smokey flavor of grilled meats, so this was disappointing. Electric grills just don't have that flavor, except for this one! We purchased a small moke box and some wood chips and viola, smoky flavored meat.
It is a great overall grill, could use an additional vent to reduce moisture on some things. Very happy to be able to grille with apartment ordinances of electric only. Have done steaks, sausages, dogs and burgers.
Perfect size for grilling up to 6 steaks at once Sears steaks very nicely as well Great addition for our terrace where we can only use electric grills I have been using Weber grills (charcoal and natural gas) for 45 years It was a little expensive but based on all of my previous Weber grills (quality products) it is in my opinion the way to go.
