A30 nailed it!

I have used my Bose A30 for three weeks now. It is the best headset on the market. I have used an A20 for the last 6 years. At that time I personally think the A20 was a much better headset. Fast forward to 2023, Bose did it!!

The 20 was adequate and did the job. Ear seals leak with glasses/sunglasses. The sound is unbeatable. The headset has been cleaned up. No random wires hanging about

A big miss

I had High expectations, but the reality is a dud. There is constant reverberation in the headset… it requires me to push the ear cup against my head repeatedly in order to stop it. The reverberation got so bad that it actually caused the headset to shake on my head. Very distracting. Eventually I can get it to stop by repeatedly pushing the headset against my head. It does it in high and med noise cancellation levels. I tried it in 3 different aircraft and it still occurred. So this is not an aircraft issue. Not an improvement over the A20, which I also have and love. It does feel lighter-but not much lighter. The case takes less space in my bag. For $1400 it’s a big miss.

A30 Headset

I haven't used my Headset yet, but I love the design, it's very lightweight, and fits smoothly around my head and ears.
I am also fascinated by the Bose Micro SoundLink, it sounds divine and I can take it with me and listen to music at any time, highly recommended :)
Love both of them.

Night and day compared to another brand. Excellent noise cancellation in a piper archer to hear the tower above any engine noise. Easy and quick set up. Worth the purchase
