Comfortable and clear.

My first Bose headset, comfortable, no pressure points, noise cancelling works great, quiet, but able to still hear the engine, radio transmission comes through clearly. Bluetooth and side touch speaker is a nice feature.

Pretty good overall

I’ve used this for a few flights with very little complaints, my one biggest issue which I know is isolated because I haven’t heard anyone else with the same issue. Randomly I hear very loud thumping from just the left ear which I think is from the noise cancelling, it goes away within a few seconds and rarely happens, but when it does it’s very annoying. I would recommend this for comfort and longevity, but for the price would I say it’s worth it, maybe, can’t really say it is worth the price but it’s definitely a good purchase aswell. Other than that issue, the headset is really good, very comfortable, Bluetooth is good, and noise cancelling is pretty good.

Nice headset, poor design for storage

Like the headset, don’t like the storage. The earcups should fold flat and the cord should not come out of the bottom of the earcup where it has pressure to bend when in the storage bag. My A20 had to have the cord replaced twice because of this issue. Was hoping it would be fixed on A30, but it is not. I love the sound quality and comfort, but will not be keeping this headset because it is too bulky in its storage bag, and I don’t want to be replacing expensive cords in the future. When you fix these 2 issues I will be a Bose user again.

Bought the A30 about 3 weeks ago. Used a A20 but it was getting old, and I thought it was time to get a good second set of headphones. Negative on the A30 is the "green" light showing they are on. The light is so weak it is hard to see when the sun is shining through the canopy

As a previous owner of two A20 headsets, I am disappointed in the A30. I am unable to get a compete seal around my ears, thus allowing a good amount of noise inside the ear cup. No amount of noise cancelling can compensate for this. I’m not sure if it’s the ear cup design/material or the strength of the spring on the cross bar. On the plus side, the headset is significantly lighter than the A20, and the head pad is larger and more comfortable. That said, I would much prefer the A20 for its superior noise cancelling ability, but since Bose is no longer stocking any parts for it, I’m stuck with the A30. Honestly, I would have expected much more testing from Bose on this A30 before it was released. I also had to turn off the “tap to listen” feature since I’m constantly adjusting the ear cups in a vain attempt to get a good seal, causing the noise cancelling to turn off. So that feature is useless for me.

This is my second pair that I’ve had to buy and I think this one is a lemon too. First pair the right headphone stop playing all audio two months into owning and the left headphone was buffeting on most channels. The second one is having its own set of issues, in process for other headsets.
