great for small batches of sauces & salsa

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know this product is designed to make a smoothie or something and take it on the go with you, but I personally think the blender is a bit cumbersome to carry around — even though it is portable! I also found it to be a bit awkward to drink straight from the blender when the bottom is so heavy.
I do, however, love this blender to make a small batches of sauces, salsa, etc. It’s so much easier than using a larger blender! I also like how relatively quiet it is and clean-up is so easy.

This gadget is perfect for day to day routine! I can have breakfast ready in two minutes and then drink it when I get to the office or in the car on my way there. It’s so convenient that I can bring the blender everywhere and how powerful it is. I can add ice or frozen fruit and the portable blender will do the job fantastic! It’s very easy to clean and take apart, and not noisy at all while blending the ingredients!

I purchased this about a week and half ago and have used it almost every other day. It does the job in terms of blending and does it pretty fast, but I wouldn't say it's an awesome product.
There are times when I need to re-blend even though I follow the instructions with the ingredients and amount of liquid. I also found out that the top two pieces you can put into the dishwasher can't go through heat dry. Also, it's not recommended to put it into the fridge so I can't really prep ingredients beforehand to blend later, and I usually have to put it in right before I plan to drink out of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for single serve recipes!

I bought this as a gift to myself on tax-free weekend. It is my favorite purchase for myself. The Ninja blast portable blender is easy to use and clean. My single serve smoothies are easily prepared in this blender.

Blade broke off

After a year of regular use (maximum 3 times per week), and easy blending never with ice. Usually frozen berries and protein powder. The blade broke off. Battery lasts a maximum of 3 blends + wash cycle for each. In general, I expected better quality and long lasting.
