Unreliable. I charged fully before use and still have to connect to power everytime I try to blend, while sporatically blending until it has enough power to make my smoothie. Go with a full size blender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

what is the point of a portable blender if you have to charge it 2 hours for it to only last one use. pathetic and false advertising

Expect constant disappointment

Absolute garbage! Usually a fan of ninja but I have no clue how this one passed the product testing..
Literary can’t blend anything, forget about anything frozen - definitely not ice! Margaritas from product fotos? That’s actually what fraud looks like
Blade is constantly “stuck” even though it’s blending anything solid. Constant lack of power, can’t function if not fully loaded, regardless if plugged in. Constant waiting.
Reminds me of the old “Xbox ring of death”
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had two of these blenders. They worked great at first and I loved it, but they both stopped taking a charge. Very disappointed in this product.

Great personal smoothie blender

Bought this to take with me to work. Works great! Manage your expectations though, this isn't going to replace your plug in blender, this is for a quick on the go smoothie. It has the power to make smoothies no problem, but you have to get the ratio of fruit/veggies to liquid right. I use frozen fruit and juice, about half full of juice, and then add frozen fruit to the fill line on the cup, maybe a little less. I find the 30 sec cycle isn't quite enough, and will run 2-3 cycles. I also have to shake the contents a little bit while it's blending as sometimes an air pocket informed around the blade. Over all, I'm very happy with it. Is exactly what I was looking for.

Good On-The-Go But Has Some Limits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought the Ninja Blast Portable Blender and it's been great for quick smoothies and protein shakes. It's compact and cordless, which I love. The BlastBlade does a decent job, but struggles a bit with tougher frozen items. Battery life is okay, but I sometimes need to recharge it after a few blends. The easy-open sip lid is super convenient, and the carrying handle is a nice touch. Overall, it's a good blender for on-the-go use, but not ideal if you need something more powerful or with long battery life.
