[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good portable blender. It does an amazing job at blending, but I wish it was upside down like a regular blender and so we could use the lid as a regular cup.
I know it's meant to be drank just like that, but it would come really handy because this personal blender has some weight on itself.
Hubby really likes it, though.

Nina Blast vs Competition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have another portable blender that I use quite regularly. Smoothies are one of my go to comfort foods. When this arrived on my doorstep I couldn’t wait to pull it out and compare them. Both have their pros and cons. I appreciate Ninja Blast’s information sticker by the power button, as the lights and meanings aren’t always intuitive on either blender. Ninja has a couple of nice colors, but sadly doesn’t win in the looks department with all of the fun colors and patterns on the market. Both are easily portable with convenient handles, though Ninja did feel a bit bulkier and heavier. It’s handle felt more in the way, but this may be due to the drinking spout on the lid. This spout is honestly what gives Ninja Blast the edge. It is much easier drink this way. Even with thicker smoothies I can add a straw into the hole and still be less worried about spills. Neither blender has a spectacular battery life, but both are doable. What makes Ninja’s charging cycle a little better is that I was able to blend while it was charging. Nothing is worse than being forced to wait to finish blending your drink. Ninja Blast claims to blend a little smoother than the competition. It may have given me a slightly smoother blend, but both give you a great smoothie. Sadly, neither truly blast through tough ingredients as I often have to blend multiple times and shake my ingredients loose when they get stuck on both blenders. These are not full powered blenders, but they are amazing to pack in a bag and take anywhere. I just had a freshly blended smoothie at work, and I’d never have thought that was possible even five years ago. When it comes time to clean, I found it rather noticeable that they don’t have the suggestion of blending soap and water like the other blender. I tried it anyway and found it worked fine. It appeared to work as well as blending soap in the other, but a deep clean may be a good idea for both of them. Note that they advise you don’t submerge this blender in water, so you have to be extra careful when cleaning. Ninja Blast does win on several counts. I’d actually use it over my original portable blender. It does a great job, and I’m happy with it. I’d recommend the Ninja Blast Portable Blender.
