Crappy Quality and Support

I had researched these types of lights and I purchased 2 Govee Lyra lamps within 3 months. The second lamp worked for a few days before it just stopped working, I contacted support and while they were polite and responsive, they were also annoying. They didn't read the comments in my request and repeatedly kept suggesting the same troubleshooting steps and asked for a video demonstrating a totally non-functioning lamp. I eventually got the lamp replaced and now the second lamp stopped working. Here we go again. I'd performed all of the troubleshooting steps and now they are insisting on a video showing the lamp not turning on. This is one of the dumbest and most infuriating support experiences I've ever encountered. I will just trash this garbage product and not bother to pursue the replacement; I suspect the replacement product will be of poor quality as well. Their support rep states that their QC needs to see a video before we can begin the replacement of the lamp. This is most aggravating ; Quality Control should occur BEFORE flooding customers with crappy products that just die within a few months of ownership.

Beautiful lights...bought 3...so far 2 have quit working. I'm waiting on the 3rd the fail. Normally I like govee products but this one is lacking.

Both lamps I purchased now flicker bad enough to where they are unusable just after the 1 year warranty. The advice from support is to by new ones. Govee is no longer an option for my household.

Stopped working

Great lamp, enjoyed it for about 3 weeks. Now it won't turn on. Stopped connecting to Bluetooth and won't turn on with remote. Hoping to get a replacement soon.

Looks well made and built with good materials

If you want a lamp that will turn heads, get this. The light pole comes dissembled but is easy to set up. I have several other Govee products and this one does not disappoint. The silicone layer used to diffuse the LEDs does a good job at making the colors have smooth transactions and since the light has several sections, you can see fun color effects. The whites are also a lot nicer and true to color. I like this lamp enough that I may end up buying a second one.

Just purchased one and it came in with the back of the remote chipped. The remote does not function at all. Checked the battery and tried to pair it using the app but it does nothing. Don’t recommend. Way too much hassle for how much it cost.

Broken out of the box

I set it up carefully following the instructions, and once I plugged in the LEDs it was glitching and didn't work properly. It didn't even turn off for some reason.
