Great defrost features

My sister bought this appliance a few months ago and recommended to me, glad she did. I often use the 10 sec button. The manual was easy to understand on how to use reheat, defrost, time cooking. Operates quietly. Like the bright interior.

Easy to use

Bought this microwave just before Xmas when our old microwave broke after 20 years.
While we didn’t have much choice as we needed a zero clearance door we are very pleased with this microwave.
It is simple to use and looks great.
Thanks to Frigidaire for making this type of door.

Major Design Flaw

I just purchased this to replace an existing OTR microwave (that failed after only 5 years, so thought I would try another brand) as it had very similar styling to my fridge and stove. Although this is a good basic microwave for the price, there is a very annoying design flaw. Although this is SUPPOSED to be able to be mounted flush to the bottom of the cabinets, if you install it as per the instructions you will not be able to open your cabinet door! There is a little piece on the microwave (above the door hinge) that sticks out HIGHER than the rest of the top of the microwave cabinet. I had to put plastic washers between the top of the microwave and the bottom of my kitchen cabinet - so now there is a space between the two, rather than being flush as it should be. Also, be advised that the light over the stove is not very bright (and there is only one setting) - it is basically just useful as a night light. However, this was not a huge issue for me as I have under-cabinet lighting on both sides of the stove.
If you can live with these two issues, then I believe this is still good value for the price. It also runs much quieter than my old one (no loud buzzing).

Fine appliance that does its job. We picked it because it comes with LED lights, helps to see when you are cooking on the cooktop

Our 5 yr old GE OTR model kept blowing the circuit breaker because of a faulty door switch design. Replaced the door switches more than once which fixed it but only temporarily ... so I gave up and bought this Frigidaire model as door design is evidently different. So far, so good.
Like: quiet, easy to use, looks good, the timer continues to work even while cooking, doesn't have TOO many functions that we don't use.
Dislikes: exhaust fan is noisy, clock doesn't show 24 hr time and is very bright.
Too soon to tell: reliable? durable?
