The thing I like the best are the easy to use buttons and the light over the stove. The Microwave is very quiet when it is in operation.

Weak steam extraction from cooktop below

The extraction fan is not great at pulling steam from the cooktop below. What is strange is the discharge air flow from the fan is good but the intake flow is very weak- hardly keeps a single tissue up. We had the technician look at it and he said it was ok but it is definitely not as good as our previous Panasonic microwave. Cooking and heating features are good. Would be nice to have a back light on the control panel so that the kitchen light doesnt have to be turned on when you want to use the microwave at night.

Great Microwave

This unit replaced another unit that was the exact same size and make and therefore made installation a breeze with a perfect fit. The door doesn't open as wide as our first unit, but it's not really impacting performance, just takes slight getting used to.
I will agree with many that have stated that they wished Frigidaire did not go with the current LED irreplaceable light board. It's not nearly as bright as an LED bulb that we used in the previous model. A slight miss on Frigidaire's part. No way of replacing the light board with a bulb socket or a brighter different hue (k) light board unfortunately.

Very Complicated Feature Instructions!

Have owned this microwave for two months, and am having major buyer’s remorse.
Not happy at all with both the defrost and the melt/soften features. Have to constantly refer to the manual to determine how to set defrost by weight or by time. Very complicated! To melt/soften, you need to memorize what the proper code is, i.e., “So-1”, etc. Also, the minimum amount of butter you can soften is a whole stick, which isn’t usually required. My previous microwave displayed the category as “butter” or “chocolate”, etc. This one is far from user friendly.

Replacement for competitive brand. Installation was a bit complicated because kitchen was finished after original unit was mounted. New unit works well after getting familiar with new features.

Microwave 1.8 cu Ft

Required an over range microwave replacement and after extensive research for suitability and price chose the Frigidaire 1.8 cu ft. I'm quite impressed with how quiet the unit is and the variety of cooking options. The only negative comment is the lighting over the range is not sufficient to cover the whole stove top.
I would recommend this to a friend!
