We tested the Tuft & Needle classic against a nectar mattress. It was a close call but in the end, the T&N won because it’s a little more cushy and comfortable. We had accidentally ended up with the nectar (Another story for another day) and we liked it, so we planned to return the T&N. Three days in, we were hooked. We are running an air doctor in our room to help with the off-gassing because we did have headaches for the first 2 weeks. But since adding the air doctor, we are good to go! T&N went out of their way to accommodate my requests and I would highly recommend their product and customer service!

Upper back discomfort, mattress maybe too soft

Arrived quickly, and is mostly what I expected, but I fear it may be too soft – shortly after switching to this mattress I started experiencing upper back discomfort, to the point where I had trouble moving one night. It may not be 100% due to the mattress, but it is interesting that the pain arrived shortly after switching to the mattress and is now gone as sleep on a different mattress while traveling during the holidays. Little edge support and overly soft are the main issues, but I will update this if I start having a better experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this mattress because my boyfriend owns it and I always get the best sleep at his house. Now that I have this mattress at home, I can also sleep really well at home. This was one of the best choices I’ve made in a while… Totally worth it!

The original is not the original. It is way too soft. Disappointed. The original from a year ago was perfect. This one sucks.

The mattress is fine. It's comfortable and supportive. I personally would prefer it to be a bit firmer. I would rate it on the plush side of firm. I do wake up feeling I got a good nights rest.

5 stars for amazing customer service even though the bed didn’t work out for us. My husband and I thought the bed was too firm and when we contacted Tuft and Needle to return within their 100 day sleep trial, Brittany, the representative, offered us a free mattress topper that was also returnable if we didn’t like it. We ultimately declined and Brittany sent us a list of charities we could donate the bed to in our area. None of the charities took used mattresses so Tuft and Needle said we could give it for free to the public. Tuft and Needle are very responsive and customer friendly.

Have the original for almost a month now. Very comfortable. My back was killing me for a while with my old bed. Ordered this bed and my back pain is gone. I’m on my feet for 10-12 hours a day 4-5 days a week with no sit downs or breaks. Yes I work in the restaurant industry. I feel very refreshed when I wake up even if I only get a few hours of sleep. Highly recommend this bed.
