3 years later and still love it

I bought a king size mattress 3 years ago and we still love it. I prefer a firm mattress because it feels better on my joints - mainly hips and knees. (I'm in my mid-thirties and the joint pain started when I was pregnant with my first.) We had a traditional memory foam 5+ years ago and it slept so hot. This mattress sleeps cool. We loved Tuft & Needle so much that we ended up buying two sheet sets and two king size pillows. Today I bought a twin bed for my toddler.

This is our second tuft and needle mattress. Upgraded to the king but it is a little thinner than the queen we got a few years back, roughly 1/2" to 3/4" shorter and sheets are not fitting as tightly. Otherwise great experience, fast shipping and loved the first so much we didn't even consider switching brands.

I have been sleeping on the original mattress for about 7 months my best friend has a Tuft & Needle and she loves her bed so I purchased one after researching. This bed is way too firm almost like sleeping on a stiff board I wake up in pain every morning, lower back pain that I have never had in my life, I am 165lbs and I am starting to dread sleeping in the bed and thinking maybe I should of bought the mint. I did try the Tuft mattress topper but it did nothing, I currently have a more plush topper on the way hoping that works out or else I am buying a new bed. Despite hating the mattress, Tuft & Needle is a great company and has been very helpful.

My wife and I are on year 8 of owning our T&N King. We also have a dog and a cat that regularly sneak onto the bed. I am happy to report we have ZERO complaints. This was the first major investment we made together and it will continue to pay off seemingly forever! Your future self will thank you for making this decision.

Excellent comfort. I bought the Hybrid the first time. But slept in a boutique hotel on the original & the original is the BOMB. If you don't want a sink in mattress but want to experience comfort, this is your mattress.

Don’t buy this mattress

Mattresses are supposed to last a long time. Especially at these prices. We’ve have this mattress for about 3 years now and I cannot tell you the intense back pain it has given my husband and I. At first we loved it! But over time it’s gotten so bad it’s hard for us to get out of bed and we are 31! When we go on vacation or sleep at other homes for a few days we are miraculously fine then when we sleep at home the low back pain comes back. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Hopefully we can save to get a higher quality product soon.

I have the original model and it is totally different from the new one. You made the new one too soft, it's an inch thinner, and you more than doubled the price. These are all reasons why I donated my mattress and got my money back.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your mattress purchase. Based on customer feedback we did make the mattress a bit softer in late 2015. That being said, while we would deem anything within 1 inch of the specified dimensions to be in spec, the mattress should still measure at 10 inches. We know you have already donated your mattress but feel free to reach back out to our team if you have any other feedback or questions. We're always happy to help.
