I bought my T&N original mattress 7 years ago. I loved the mattress for the last 5 years, however, it has now just completely failed me. I have no support left, the edges now roll down and I wake up every morning with a terrible low backache. Sadly I now find myself having to look for another mattress and spend more $$ I don't really have. I am 5'8" tall and weigh 150. Not a heavy person, also the only sleeper in the bed so sorry but not happy with this mattress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As a side sleeper, I found this mattress to not be perfect. I ended up having to purchase a mattress topper of about 1 in of thickness, to achieve the comfort I needed. Set up was easy, and the box arrived faster than expected. I wish I could give 5 stars, but needing a topper for good comfort doesn't really earn it. I have enjoyed the mattress since adding the topper though. Overall, good job!

This is my 4th Tuft and Needle purchase in 3 1/2 years.
So happy with the product
Somewhat firm but supportive and I sleep cool
Cannot ask for more

Back pain

I bought this a year and a half ago. My husband and I moved up from a queen so because I was sleeping better due to more room it took me a while to notice how uncomfortable it was. I’ve been having a lot of back pain to the point that I’ve started sleeping in the guest room in my old Casper bed. Since switching back to my old mattress my back pain has improved so much. Also I’m only 24 years old and shouldn’t have much back pain at all.
It’s worth noting that I’m a side sleeper. However my husband finds it comfortable. It’s definitely more on the firm side so if you like a firm mattress then you should be fine. We have friends that bought the same mattress and haven’t complained.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We went from a high quality spring mattress to the tuft and needle in a king size. Best sleep ever. My back has never felt so aligned and my husband’s snoring isn’t as loud.

First and foremost the entire process of purchasing and receiving/unboxing the mattress was 10/10. The order was processed quickly and I honestly don’t think I spent 3 minutes between ordering and setting it up. Flawless.
My gripe with the mattress is that it’s not uniform from side to side. One edge has a defended 90* angle lip, and the other sort of slopes or rolls. It’s not the end of the world, as I can’t occupy both sides of a queen mattress at the same time and I have the side I need to work on the side I sleep on, but it’s an issue. In hindsight I regret not buying the more expensive model but live and learn.
Ignoring the odd side, I really do like the mattress. It doesn’t sleep warm as I had feared, it’s far less mushy than I imaged and the fact that it doesn’t transfer my motion through it is neat. It’s very calming, I don’t really know how to describe it.
