It's soft and firm at the same time and I love it! I've been using box springs mattress all my life and have had on and off back pain and figured out the my bed was not firm as my back needed for a good nights rest. Tuft & Needle got it right with this mattress!

The foam was not cut uniformly. The corners are not all cut the same which affects the sheets on the corner. And along one side there is a dent in the foam. Maybe if I had bought the more expensive one the quality would have been better. But I bought the one I did because I remember the story of why the mattress was made. After researching how much the foam cost and then putting a fee on top the reasonable priced mattress was made. Now I see the company has kicked that thinking to the side and put out a ridiculously priced mattress which which online reviews say isn't better that the one I bought. Still I certainly didn't think I would get something not cut better than how I could cut it and then covered up with this mattress cover (which is very soft and nice by the way). I give it a five because the bed was comfortable but I don't feel I should have received a poorly cut product despite it being the cheaper of the two mattresses.
