Side sleepers will need a topper or the Mint.

My husband and I are both side sleepers, and the mattress alone was waaaaaay to firm for us, even though 3rd party reviewers say that the basic T&N mattress is the softest of all the mail-order mattresses on the market in the same price range. A quick chat with customer service to troubleshoot the issue (which was super helpful, quick, and totally painless) and the mattress topper was on its way. Totally fixed the firmness and we’re sleeping on a cloud, now! For side sleepers I recommend you start with the topper or spring for the mint line.

Our mattress is amazing!!! My husband no longer wakes up from my snoring and he even has slept through his alarm twice! He’s so comfortable and sleeps peacefully now!!!! Best mattress we’ve ever slept on!!!

Great bed. Of all the beds I’ve slept in, not owned, this is by far the greatest. Super comfortable, maybe too much, I find myself at times, sleeping in more than I’d usually like to because it’s just so comfortable. Being my first purchase I could definitely say in the future I’ll be looking here again for when it’s time to upgrade size or renew.

So far, it is living to my expectations. I like the fact that this is not a memory foam which is pretty hard to find these days because of the trends. Support on a side sleeper like me is amazing, i usually have backaches with my former mattress or hard to get out of the bed. Sleep wise, i am a night shift nurse and i am having a very bad time sleeping, now i am having a very good sleep and rest.

When I bought this product I believed that I was a fan of firm beds. I knew it was supposed to be better for you - yadda yadda. But in reality my partner and I are mostly side sleepers, and if you sleep on your side your body can only take so much of a hard surface before it takes abuse.
After a week of airing out and expanding without any outside influence I was so ready to try this guy. Then, It was hard as concrete! I swear it was like I was straight on the floor. It was like this for three weeks. I developed a nerve pain in my right hip that would go down to my toes from sleeping on it. It even effected my driving because of how I use my right leg. After the third week either my partner and I got used to it, changed our way of sleeping to our backs, or it softened up a little - but only until tolerable.
We can’t cuddle on this bed for any long period of time because your side gets sore so I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s good for couples. I don’t know if I’ll be keeping this for much longer - I just keep hoping it gets softer and softer.
The concept of the bed, the service, the shipping, the price? All fantastic. But the product itself was not a winner. I’m sad about it. I wanted it to be great!!
