This is a great mattress. I'm 67 with health issues and I got set up by myself. Not saying it was easy, but I did do it. I've been sleeping better and not waking up constantly since I got the mattress. I almost got the more expensive model but I'm perfectly happy with what I have.

This is the seventh Tuft and Needle mattress I have purchased and it all started when while looking for one of my grandsons bed. After purchasing my grandson's mattress I bought a mattress for one of my granddaughters. Hers was damaged when a cleaning service accidently left the family cat locked in my granddaughter bedroom while the family was away on vacation. When my daughter called Tuft and Needle to find if there was any way to clean the mattress Tuft and Needle said there was not; however, Tuft and Needle arranged for the mattress to be replaced free of charge and the old mattress removed. My wife and I had just purchased a new home and when I heard Tuft and Needle had been so kind I a Tuft and Needle mattress for our new house. I had bought to pillow tops at our other home previously and so I was curious how well I would sleep on them. We were so impressed we bought three more Tuft and Needle mattresses for the new house. Guest have been impressed the mattresses when I tell them they came in a box. I just bought a Tuft and Needle mattress for another grandson and his parents told me his allergies cleared up immediately which is why I am writing this review.

It’s definitely on the firm side. I went from a pillow top to a firm, which took a bit of adjusting, but I find that I don’t flip around as much to get settled. It’s very comfy. And breathable. (It’s January in Upstate NY so everything is cool at the moment.)
It’s heavy and floppy! I need help moving her around.
I found a simple solid oak platform bed, so I’ve got myself an affordable little set up here. Looks sharp.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It took a few days to get used to, but I love this mattress and miss it when I’m gone. I’m a super hot sleeper, and this has helped me not sweat through the night as compared to my old spring mattress. I’m surprised a foam mattress can do such a good job at this! For reference, I am 5’0”, 120 lbs. and this is perfect for me and a(nother short) friend or partner.
