Mattress is only 8 inches thick and is much softer than we were expecting. We both hit the side rails of our bed getting in and out. We’re considering a return, but with everything locked down with Covid-19, what charity will take it?

Good mattress and very firm. I wish I’d listened to the recommendations that side sleepers should get the Mint. I have always preferred very firm mattresses and have always been a side sleeper. For traditional mattresses side sleeping on a firm mattress has been comfortable for me, but on this one it is less so. The company specifically recommends the Mint for side sleepers but I was worried that it would be too soft overall so I went with the Original. It is a great mattress but is too firm to be very comfortable for side sleeping.
