The mattress is just so low on our bed and I'm not sure my husband has been wowed by it yet, either, as far as helping his back feel any different. I guess it's for a low modern frame as opposed To our sleigh bed that makes it look less substantial. We are used to a lot thicker, taller memory foam mattress

The matress is really comfortable, and doesn't give you a hard time sleeping. You barely can feel yourself in it, which makes it perfect.

It was not as thick/tall as I'd hoped and when I sit on the edge I almost touch the foundation.
