This may be a longer answer than you’re looking for but I really want to give a full review. I bought the t&n for my son because he’d been complaining that his lucid brand mattress was too hard to sleep on. I bought him the version that was supposed to be specifically meant for kids. As soon as i took the t&n out of the package I could already tell it was going to be more comfortable. Once it expanded (in just a short moment) I gave it the test and immediately wished I had chosen tuft and needle in the first place. I had also bought myself a lucid and ended up having to spend a whole lot more than the price of the mattress trying to fix its unbearable firmness. I like a firm bed. The lucid is barely more comfortable than sleeping on a hard foam camp pad. A few weeks ago I threw one of my arms out of the shoulder socket, and since than I’ve found it uncomfortable to sleep on that side, even with the extra pads I’ve added to my bed. But when I laid on my son’s new t&n I realized that I didn’t feel any pressure on that side at all. Now I haven’t slept an entire night on it yet to see if that holds true for 8 hours, but my son has been able to get a full nights rest in total comfort since his t&n arrived. Oh yea. And we LOVE our pouch. I was skeptical because it cost half as much as the comparable brand but man we love this thing. And nobody in the house wants to share, including the dog and the cat!

This mattress feels good out of the box. I recently purchased a different brand from another company. Not comfortable and I had to return the item. This mattress is all that they describe.
