This our second purchase of this great mattress (the first one is on an island in Alaska and was enjoyed for 5 years....it was easier to just buy a new one for our move to Washington). We discovered T&N online and had many of the same issues with purchasing a new mattress that the founders had in their search. (SO glad they took matters into their own hands.) Living on a remote island in Alaska makes the search just that much more difficult. Thanks to T&N's outstanding guarantee, there was very little risk and we're so very glad we took a chance.
This mattress is the perfect blend of firm comfort for us. It is supportive, but has a luxurious padded covering for comfort. An added bonus is that movement from one of us does not disturb the other from sleep. (This will become more important to you as you age...trust me!)
My husband and I are in our mid-50s, just under 6' and 220 lbs. and 180 lbs. respectively who primarily sleep on our sides. We are moderately active and, thankfully, do not have any true health issues. With other mattresses over the years, however, we have struggled with restless sleep and sore backs. We wanted more from our money and were thrilled to find that the T&N Original was still available. (I am sure the other models are wonderful, but why mess with perfection?)
Thanks to T&N we still have money in our pocket, the reassurance of a solid warranty and solid sleep each night! We are beyond grateful!

Bed is too soft for me and particular. I think this is a good bed for the right person, but unfortunately not me. The customer service was awesome and the company seems like a solid company based on my interactions with their associates. If they come up with a firmer bed, a 7/10 on firmness or higher, I would definitely consider looking at it.
