Perfect softness for my back and side sleeping

My wife and I like very different firmnesses in our mattresses. I'm a 200 lb, 6 ft, middle aged, back and side sleeper. I put the mattress on a wood platform that makes it match my wife's bed's height. This mattress is medium soft and supports my back the way I need. It has enough give for my hips to sink in a little and keep my back straight when I'm side sleeping. My wife likes firm mattresses and a body pillow, and couldn't sleep on this mattress comfortably. We're sleeping side by side again with neither of us in pain in the morning.
The mattress needs to outgas for a couple of days, or a couple more if you have a sensitive nose. I was fine with it after 2.
