I like it. It is the second one I've bought. I'm not sure if it has changed between 2014-2-23. My first one might have felt a bit firmer. The mattress is medium firmness in my opinion. Having said that, I get great sleep great in it. I have used a box spring and a flat platform bed (no slats). To me it feels much better with the box spring.

Have only been on the mattress for about a week but not getting up with the back ache I was getting up with. I put a memory foam egg crate on top because it didn't feel real "cushy". Main complaint would be it's a bit hard to handle.

This is our second Tuft & Needle mattress purchase. Our first is on my husband’s & my bed. We found it to be so comfortable that we purchased one for our guest room bed. The fact that it comes compact in a box was very helpful to us as we live in a 125+ years old house with a small turning staircase. No more bringing furniture & mattresses in through the second floor window!! Our son & his wife are the ones who introduced us to Tuft & Needle brand and we’re happy they did. We highly recommend this mattress!

There is no better mattress on the market. Slept on my old T & N for over 10 years, gave it to my daughter in great condition and upgraded to king size T & N. Truly the best sleeps of my entire life on this mattress. My husband had wanted to save some money, and based on reviews he was convinced it would be better, so we tried the Nectar first. The Nectar was a nightmare, horrible sleeps, and body pain, and a terrible process to return. We gave it away and bought a T & N instead and we are in heaven. Will never buy anything different. So worth it.

We were needing new mattresses 5 years ago. I was pregnant with our 3rd and the mattresses we had were killing my back. So I searched and searched and found T&N. Read the remotes read through the website. Finally made the purchase. And I loved it. Slept great, at first. Fast forward 5 years and 3 months and my husband can no longer sleep on this mattress and every morning I wake up with my back hurting. He started having back issues 4 years ago and it wasn’t until I started feeling the same that I realized it’s due to this mattress. It dips in the middle, if I lay a certain way I can feel it hurting my back, any time I move he feels it and always has. There’s just absolutely no support and no comfort left in this mattress. We rotate the mattress regularly and that seems to have made it worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
