It’s definitely on the firm side. I went from a pillow top to a firm, which took a bit of adjusting, but I find that I don’t flip around as much to get settled. It’s very comfy. And breathable. (It’s January in Upstate NY so everything is cool at the moment.)
It’s heavy and floppy! I need help moving her around.
I found a simple solid oak platform bed, so I’ve got myself an affordable little set up here. Looks sharp.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great mattress. I'm 67 with health issues and I got set up by myself. Not saying it was easy, but I did do it. I've been sleeping better and not waking up constantly since I got the mattress. I almost got the more expensive model but I'm perfectly happy with what I have.

This mattress is as described. Comfortable, not too soft or too firm; doesn’t bounce when my 200 lb + hubby rolls over. Also not nearly as heavy as the tempurpedic memory foam we used to have. I can lift the corners to tuck in the sheets!

I love this bed. It is not too soft and not too hard. It is still keeping its shape. I can lay on my sides and not feel like I'm sinking in or getting pressure ulcers from laying on my hip bone. I just need to find better pillows.

I was a little scared to actually pull the trigger and purchase a mattress. There are so many options out there and it can be overwhelming! After doing a ton of research I landed on this one from tuft and needle because of the quality as well as the price. I was not disappointed! Super comfy and amazing quality! The only downside is it makes it harder to get up in the morning because I’m so comfortable! I would recommend it to anyone!

I've been using the tuft and needle mattress for about a month and I can say that it has been the best purchase quality of life wise. It has the perfect amount of firmness especially when broken in and it breathes well enough that I don't sweat at night anymore. Owned a gel/memory foam hybrid the past 10 years and it got to the point where it sagged in the middle giving me back pains and also got tired of sleeping hot every night living in Florida.
I would say it's worth every penny and if this company sticks out for another 10 years or more I'll be a returning customer buying another great mattress from them.
