I'm a side sleeper and I thought this bed, based on reviews online and friends, that it would suit me well, but it really is pretty firm in the shoulder area and gets uncomfortable. Because I don't sink in, I need a very high pillow to keep my head aligned, which is hard to find. Granted, I've only had it for about a week, but I feel like I will have to return it for something more plush on top.

My granddaughter loves her new twin bed. So...I may try it next time I'm at her house and when we are ready to upgrade our King, we may get it from Tuft & Needle! Thank you!

The mattress is good, but it is not quite as comfortable as we expected. We bought a new mattress because our old one (8 year old memory foam) was starting to wear out and become "hot." Unfortunately this new mattress is not quite as cool as we wanted. Most nights we are okay, but I'm sure it will break down over time and become unbearable. In many other ways though, it has surpassed our expectations. The buying and setup experience was great, and the other areas of comfortability of the mattress are above average.
